PG House
Residential
PG House has a unique cul-de-sac cut site in San Fernando, Pampanga. Showing the exact round shape of the property was crucial in a tangible form. The group could follow the curve of the lot while maintaining linearity in its structure, using only three blocks. The blocks depict a masculine character through the edges and the use of neutral colors as the general palette of the house. The exterior and interior of the building both feature natural wood, which creates a soft and welcoming atmosphere.
Upon entering the house, the foyer features a circular column that adds to the subtlety of the interiors. The ground floor utilizes open planning, with the living, dining, and kitchen space segregated only by carefully selecting and arranging furniture. The space can be used as a gathering area for the house since the furniture placement defines the different areas and can be easily modified.
We thoroughly analyzed the natural elements to determine the appropriate fenestration sizes for each room, allowing for adequate natural ventilation. The second-floor balcony offers a partially panoramic view of the surroundings, making it an ideal spot to watch the sunset in the afternoon.
At KJHP Design Group, we design homes catering to our client's specific preferences, activities, and lifestyles. However, we also consider external factors, such as natural elements and lot shape, that can affect the physical building. Considering all these factors, we ensure that every project meets our high standards for creating a well-balanced and sensible living space.
